We are ecstatic to announce our full lineup for the 4th consecutive year, alongside an eclectic line-up including one of the most influential soul, R&B and funk outfits of all time – Kool & The Gang. Joining the legendary hit-makers will be drum n’ bass heavyweight Andy C, and global disco superstar Todd Terje, plus an array of talent will take to the three-day festival’s ten stages this summer – including Mall Grab, Gentleman’s Dub Club, Artwork, Horse Meat Disco, Shy FX, Dimension, Mr Scruff, Joey Negro, Ocean Wisdom, and many more.
Two-time Grammy award and seven-time American Music Award-winning power-act Kool & The Gang will take the headline spot at this year’s El Dorado for their only UK festival slot this year. Taking the stage to perform hits from their iconic back-catalogue, including “Celebration”, “Get Down On It” and “Jungle Boogie”, expect a set of legendary standing. With 23 studio albums and 70 singles under their belts, the collective has seen members inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and will be celebrating 54 years of success at this years festival.
Since catapulting onto the global dance scene, Andy C’s career has been nothing short of a phenomenon. He’s sold-out solo shows at Alexandra Palace and Brixton Academy, as well as playing to thousands at festivals across the world. Andy C was recently chosen to host the first d&b radio show on Apple Music’s Beats 1. His hits include anthems like “Heartbeat Loud”, “Workout” and “New Era”.
Having arrived on the Scandinavian dance scene in 2004, Todd Terje has been hailed as “King of the summer jams” by Mixmag, and “one-third of the Holy Trinity of Norwegian disco” by Spin magazine. Known for his positive vibes, colorful disco and funkiness, Todd Terje featured at number 17 in the Rolling Stone magazine list of ‘The 25 DJs That Rule the Earth’. With hits like “Inspector Norse”, “Johnny and Mary”, and “Delores Dynamite” Todd Terje’s disco 2.0 will have everyone dancing.
Rising star, Mall Grab spent the last two years shooting to the top of the electronic scene like a rocket. The 24-year-old Australian is breaking all kinds of molds on his rapid rise to recognition on the world stage. Mall’s career looks set to continue its meteoric rise, fuelled by the release of a dozen EPs in only three years.
Across the festival’s five incredible stages, Gentleman’s Dub Club will bring their energetic mix of dub/ska/reggae. Combining tight grooves and a heavyweight sound, the Northern nine-piece bring the party to crowds hungry for a dance floor workout.
Internationally renowned four-man DJ collection, Horse Meat Disco will be on hand with a party-starting extravaganza. Since arriving on the scene in 2003, Horse Meat Disco has become one of the biggest disco club nights in the world, having recently played sets in Canada, the USA, and Europe.
One of the original pioneers of the jungle and drum&bass scenes, Shy FX is set to play an electrifying set of back-to-back bangers. A true innovator for dance music across the globe, Shy FX has recently collaborated with the likes of Lily Allen, Maverick Sabre, Ghetts, Kiko Bun, and many more with a brand new album set to be released this year.
Festival veteran, Mr Scruff, will be playing an eclectic-as-ever show for this year’s festival-goers. Having released four critically acclaimed albums, selling over half a million records worldwide, with countless tours and club events Mr Scruff has cemented his now legendary DJ status.
