Katie Kittermaster is an 18 year old singer/ songwriter from Kent. Her vocals are haunting and distinctive. Her writing is based on relationships, which resonates well with her target listeners. Her writing is fresh and honest.
Katie is managed by KRMB Management in London and is sponsored by Taylor Guitars, Roland Keyboards and Aston Microphones.
Katie lived in Dubai for 3 years where she was lucky enough to perform for Ricky Martin, Maxwell, 50 Cent and Eva Longoria at a gala event for The Global Gift Foundation. It was in Dubai that she made her first live TV appearance singing Skinny Love. Katie also opened an event at the British Embassy in Dubai for the high profile charity ‘Help For Heroes’.
Having returned to the UK, in 2017 she opened for Louisa Johnson, which was her first major gig.
In 2018 Katie opened for Jools Holland and Marc Almond at Kimbolton Castle in Cambridgeshire in September 2018 and for Olly Murs in December in the same year.
Katie has been interviewed on BBC Radio Kent performing her music live, as well as a host of other local radio stations. BBC Introducing played one of her unpublished tracks “What Am I To Do” in January 2019. Most recently the BBC made a short film about Katie’s journey to date.
2018 and 2019 saw several National and International songwriting accolades with her track T-shirt, including winning the UK Songwriting Competition and the Commonwealth Songwriting Competition. She was also nominated for Lyricist of The Year.
ITV’s ‘This Morning’ played her track ‘Kaleidoscope’ during the fashion segment in May 2018 and have confirmed that they will also be playing ‘T-Shirt’ at a later date.
In September Katie will be supporting Boyzlife playing 13 gigs over 22 nights. The tour starts in Dundee on September 1st and concludes in Exeter on 22nd of that month.
